Rockin' Roll Boyfriend - Part 2

"You CAN'T be serious, Jennie!" said Kim, stopping the CD player that was playing My Chemical Romance loud enough so that all of the hotel probably heard it, "I mean, chances are very rare they'd be in the same place as us! Are you sure you weren't imagining it... We all KNOW how big of a Green Day fanatic you are -- you literally WORSHIP them!"
"Well, would you guys do an opening act for them?" I asked, hoping they would say yes and we could call their room.
Kim, Anna, and Jack looked at each other and my other friends like Liz, Rob, Will, and Kat just stared dumbly around, not sure if what I was saying was true.
"Well," Anna said, breaking the last minutes silence, "I'll let you call their room, Jennie, and then I think we'll all find out if this is for real or not."
I ran over to the phone sitting on a side table, and looked at the number. 894 - 4452 was supposedly their room number. RING! One ring, no answer. RING! Two rings, still no answer. RING! I'm thinking, come on, pick up! Finally, on the last ring, Billie Joe picked up.
"Hello?!" screamed Billie into my ear because there was some loud noise -- it sounded like some odd band I'd never heard of playing in the background.
"Hi, uh, this is Jennie!" I said to him, loud, but not as loud as he was.
"Who the fuck is Jennie?!" he screamed into the phone, then said to Mike and Tre, "COULD YOU TURN THE MUSIC DOWN!" and the music slowly died down.
"I'm from a band Chain Letter, and I met Tre in the hall," I told Billie, wondering if Tre even told him about what happened, "and he said that if we wanted we could do an opening act for you guys tomorrow."
"He never told me that!" Billie Joe said, and I heard him say to Tre, "Why'd you go get us an opening act and not even tell me or Mike about it?!"
"Uh," I heard Tre in the background, "I forgot... But uh, would you like them to do an opening act for us?!"
Billie Joe sighed, "Fine," he then said to me through the phone, "OK, Chain Letter can do an opening act for us tomorrow at the small stadium on Wayside Avenue, but I'd like to meet you guys first thing tomorrow morning down at the pool around ten A. M. OK?"
"OK," I said to him, "thanks, bye." I hung up the phone and turned to my friends, "You guys, we're meeting Green Day tomorrow morning at the pool at ten A. M."
"YAY!" Jack screamed, "I love swimming!"

That night, I didn't sleep well at all. I tossed and turned. I knew that I should probably try and get sleep like the rest of the band was, otherwise I'd be like crap the next day if we had to play, but still, it's an exciting thing when you're planning on meeting all your idols at the same time and they might let you do an opening act for them. Eventually, I fell asleep, but woke up very soon.
It was then nine -- thirty A. M.
"WAKE UP, YOU RETARD, JACK!" Anna was slapping Jack with a pillow to get his ass off of the sofa he was sleeping on, which was the same one he was in the previous day, "You know, we're not GOING to get an opening act for Green Day if you don't get up!"
"Five more minutes!" Jack moaned, his head hidden underneath a sheet.
It was only the band in the room -- our friends had left a little after my call to Green Day's room. Kim was brushing her teeth in the bathroom and Anna was trying to get Jack out of bed. I was brushing my messy hair I'd gotten from tossing and turning all night.
Twenty minutes later, we were all ready to go -- even Jack. We got our towels, and headed down to the pool room. Right when we got there, Jack immediately jumped into the pool. Green Day was not there yet and the whole room was pretty much deserted because of how early it was.
"AH!" Jack screamed as he jumped into the eight feet deep water, "It's freezing!" he then splashed Kim, and started splashing all of us.
"Don't Jack, PLEASE!" Anna yelled at him, "Let us get in first!"
We all got in and had a huge splash fight, and ten minutes later, I stopped and noticed who had just entered the room.
"So, is this Chain Letter?" Mike Dirnt asked as he walked in with Billie Joe and Tre right next to him.
"Yep!" I said and got out of the pool and my band mates followed.
"You guys think you can handle a show tonight?" Billie Joe asked us.
"Yeah," said Jack, and we all sat down at a pool table, talking about things that didn't even relate to our bands or the show that would be coming up -- somehow we started talking about how penguins have sex, other odd things like that.
In the middle of our conversation, Tre took his shirt off and said, "Well, I wanna go in the hot tub now, you guys can come too, if you want!"
So, we all went in the tub which seated eight people - I got in first and Tre sat next to me. I caught him staring at my breasts for a minute and got embarrassed, but it was OK with me. The seven of us continued to talk for a while, and when we got out, we were freezing but went in the pool anyway and just swam around playing Marco Polo, more splash fights and on and on.
"Well, it was nice meeting you guys!" Mike said to us, "We'll see you tonight at seven, I hope!"
"Yeah, and you guys should come to the party afterward, OK?" Billie Joe said last, throwing his red T - shirt over his head.
"We will," Anna said, "Bye!"
Once they were gone, Anna turned to me, and said, "I saw Tre staring at you the whole time. I think he likes you or something."
I blushed as I dried myself off with a hotel towel, and said, "Yeah, well so what? He's like thirteen years older than me!"
"So?" she said as all four of us walked out, and Kim and Jack were in their own conversation, "That doesn't matter. I've heard people going out with twenty year age differences no problem!"
We then started to chat about other things, inside jokes instead. Though, the thought of Tre liking me was scary, since I did like him too. It was now noon, and the show would be in only seven hours -- seven VERY long hours!
